The 2026/27 edition of Ciclo, an initiative by Arquipélago - Centro de Artes Contemporâneas and Tremor, opens a new stage of training and creation dedicated to Rave culture in the Azores. The programme aims to bring together a collective that will develop and produce a new party over several months, to be presented during Tremor 2027.
With artistic guidance and coordination by programmer and producer Inês Borges Coutinho (Violet), Ciclo runs from October 2026 to March 2027 in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions. The programme includes training modules in artistic direction, lighting, video and scenography, technical direction and production, communication and community, as well as regular mentoring sessions with the artistic coordinator.
The training will be led by António Pedro Lopes in Artistic Direction; Gabi in Lighting, Video and Scenography; Luís Brum in Technical Direction and Production; and Didi in Communication and Community.
The programme will culminate in a residency dedicated to the implementation and presentation of the project at Tremor 2027.
Applications to join this edition are open from 14 September to 6 October and are aimed at people interested in taking part in the collective development of a new project within the context of Rave culture in the Azores. Participation is free of charge.
