Half of BANDIDO$, box office cornerstone, dedicated cyclist, and director of the best documentary on “businesses to manufacture soy ice cream started by nonagenarians from Faial”, Bruno Sousa (ticket office coordinator in 2016, 2018 and 2019), demonstrates with these two stories that cultivating versatility in various trades is basically a base requirement to work at the festival.
«I worked with Tremor for several years selling tickets, but there was a year when I was at the box office and the need arose to have someone to help coordinate the departures for Despensas de Rabo de Peixe (in residence with Za! in Tremor 2019). And, on the day itself, the biggest hardship was actually getting the places hosting the events to be ready on time, because I was running all over the place and the hosts were calmly drinking beer, already opening one to offer me. God knows how, but it all turned out ready at the right time. The only time I played as an artist at Tremor, I was also selling tickets. Out of the blue, Márcio called me to say that they needed a DJ to play that night in the bar area of Coliseu Micaelense. It was two out of the three times I worked in the box office, to my pity, because I would have loved for it to have happened more times.»
