What is the cashless system?
Tremor is a cashless festival, which means there are no payments made with cash or bank cards at festival bars or other internal points of sale. All purchases are made using your wristband.
How does it work?
→ Upon arrival at the festival, you must exchange your ticket for a wristband at designated locations.
→ Each wristband contains a personal and non-transferable QR code through which you can top up your personal account. Simply scan the QR code with your phone to activate your digital wallet.
→ To add funds to your account, you can use the following payment methods: MBWAY, Multibanco Reference, VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
→ You can also top up your wristband at one of the festival’s fixed or mobile top-up stations.
What if I don’t spend all the credit?
→ If you don’t use all your credit, you can request a refund during the period announced by the festival via the digital wallet. No fees will be charged, and you’ll receive the full amount back.
→ Alternatively, you’re invited to leave the remaining balance on your wristband as a donation. Tremor will transfer these donations to institutions and associations working on São Miguel Island. The beneficiary associations will be announced by the festival.
