1. A portion of land surrounded by water; an island.

2. [Anatomy] Deep region of the cerebral cortex responsible for interoception—the ability to feel one’s own body from within. It integrates visceral sensations, emotions, and social awareness; it allows us to recognize others, feel empathy, and form bonds.

I breathe. The island breathes. We breathe.
Strange beings meet in a diaspora and a shared present, landing, sowing, taking root.

An installation on the experience of inhabiting the island and being inhabited by it. A sonic journey inviting active listening.
