Housepainters is a dynamic post-punk and no-wave ensemble. The band draws inspiration from krautrock, wave-punk, and dub, blending hypnotic rhythms with wavy, echoing vocals. Their debut LP is influenced by dystopian films such as “1984” and “Basic Instinct”, creating a dark, immersive soundscape that balances tension and groove. The Amsterdam-based trio — Anna Fleuri, Tom Ogilvie, and Marnix Wilmink — delivers music that is both edgy and hypnotic.
