Engengroaldenga, formed by Alexandre Fontes and Rui Resendes, explores new sounds for the Viola da Terra, reinterpreting the Viola de Dois Corações and showcasing its versatility. Since their 2018 debut, they have performed at festivals across the Azores and mainland Portugal. In 2025, they released the album “Nalgum Tempo” and the music video for its title track, celebrating Azorean tradition with energy, originality, and intimacy.
