ASCA, Leonor Soares’s stage name, was born in 2007 on Flores Island and discovered DJing after joining the Plugg Collective, on São Miguel Island. She has been standing out in the Azorean scene with energetic sets influenced by electronic music, tech house, latino mix, guaracha, hyperpop and altfunk. She values continuous mixing and structures her sets by BPM, creating rhythmic progressions that intensify the connection with the audience.
ASCA was one of the projects selected by FAÍSCA, an open call that boosts the creation and visibility of new music produced in the Azores, promotes the artistic diversity of the archipelago, and which for Tremor 2026 was strengthened to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Autonomy by highlighting its contemporary voices.
