From the 14th of October to the 14th of November 2025, the submission period for the second edition of FAÍSCA is open. This is an open call for musical artists and bands who work and live on the Azores to participate in the 2026 edition of Tremor Festival.

FAÍSCA is an invitation to submit proposals of any genre and musical format, with any type of formation in terms of number of people and with music produced in any language. The call fulfils Tremor’s ongoing mission to promote and create new windows of visibility for new music made in the Azores. In light of the celebrations of 50 years of Autonomy, Tremor strengthens and creates more spaces for presenting music made in the archipelago, and builds platforms where narratives are told and the inventiveness and multiplicity of the artistic voices that compose it are presented. In this way, it stimulates the different types of music that exist in the region and expands the roster of artists that the festival follows, supports and presents. Selected artists and bands are invited to play at Tremor 2026, on a date, time and venue to be confirmed, between March 24th and 28th, 2026, on the island of São Miguel.

Proposals may be submitted until November 14th, 2025, at 23:59 (GMT-1). Proposals are submitted by completing this Google Forms application.

Completing the form implies the submission of promotional materials, technical and hospitality riders, and other relevant information about the history of the project and the team associated with it. Proposals will be selected by the Tremor 2026 programming team–Marina Rei, Joaquim Durães, Márcio Laranjeira, Luís Banrezes, António Pedro Lopes.

The results will be communicated by email and subsequently announced publicly on the festival’s digital platforms and in the media.
