In 2025, the family-friendly and youth-oriented programming of the Tremor festival will take place on the morning and early afternoon of Saturday, April 12th, at Convento de Santo António, bringing the excitement of Mini-Tremor powered by AC Cymbron to the city of Lagoa.

The programme is curated by the WETUMTUM collective, a return to the festival after participating in the 2024 edition of Mini-Tremor. They will present Tédio and UMI, two performances that promise to grab everyone’s attention. The UMI show will have two sessions on Saturday morning: the first at 10:00 and the second at 11:00. In the afternoon, a single session of the Tédio performance is scheduled to start at 15:00.

Access to Mini-Tremor is free, but registration for activities is required through the 3cket app.

UMI, aimed at children aged 0 to 6, tells the story of two friends who had only known each other virtually. Coming directly from Japan, Sally Sakurai and Zé Pereira, from Portugal, finally meet for the first time, blending reality and imagination into a single story. The performance offers an opportunity for families to engage in a cultural exchange between Japan and Portugal in a musical and entertaining way. The great UMI (meaning "sea" in Japanese) is both what separates and connects Sally and Zé, serving as the inspiration for many shared experiences in this encounter. UMI is a beautiful tribute to a commercial relationship that began by sea between these two countries 480 years ago.

At the heart of Tédio, musician-performers take on the roles of four interesting and charismatic characters. They find themselves in an extremely dull setting, which is transformed through everyday objects and percussion. Through a sequence of scenes where time seems to drag, the ordinary turns into music. With interactive moments, the characters discover the importance of teamwork in solving common problems, as well as the role of creativity and humour in making music and harmony together. Percussion blends with acrobatics and improvisation, inviting the audience to interact and explore music in unexpected ways. With an increasing rhythm and energy, every sound becomes a sonic adventure that resonates with all audiences.

All Mini-Tremor activities are sponsored by AC Cymbron.
