Turkish artist and researcher based in Porto, Ece Canli has a body of work that pushes the boundaries of the voice through an intricate practice of extended vocal techniques and extralinguistic expressions. Released in October 2024, her latest album, S A C R O S U N, is a non-linear series of maximalist meditations on interstellar anxieties, crafted into an immersive sonic landscape that expands beyond the terrestrial limitations of her debut  Vox Flora, Vox Fauna. S A C R O S U N expands this audio-vision into a cosmic and subterranean panorama, insisting on a much more extensive verticality. The result is a deeply personal sound-world that Canlı writes, performs, and produces herself, which doubles as a musical tract motivated by the literature, philosophy, and cinematic images of a pluralised cosmism.
